# Haul-out and launch calendar

From Lake Ontario to the Okanagan, the boating year is set by ice, locks and the weather. These are the typical windows. Each yard publishes its own dates.

## Fixed dates worth knowing

## When to book

- Winter storage: July to September. Popular yards near Toronto and in cottage country fill by early fall.
- Spring work: January to March, before technicians are booked solid.
- Seasonal slips: Winter, or join the waitlist a year ahead for busy marinas and the BC coast.
