Cabin cruiser and yacht storage

Cruiser questions
Can my boat stay in the water over winter?
Some Lake Ontario and coastal marinas allow it with bubblers or de-icers and rules on minimum size. On the BC coast it is the norm. See yacht storage.
What travel lift capacity do I need?
Give us the dry weight plus fuel and water. Many yard lifts take 35 to 50 tons; larger boats need specific yards.
