From the dock to storage and back
Boat transport and cottage pick-up
No trailer, or the boat sits at a cottage two hours from home? A hauler with a hydraulic trailer picks it up, takes it to storage, and brings it back in spring. Put the pick-up address area in the request and we price the whole loop.

How a cottage pick-up works
Tell us where the boat is
Lake, nearest road access, and whether it is at a dock, on a lift or in a boathouse.
Pick-up date
Before freeze-up, usually late September to October in cottage country.
Storage and services
The boat goes to storage, gets winterized and wrapped if you asked.
Spring delivery
Back to your dock or ramp after ice-out, on a date you agree on.
Transport prices
| Item | Starting price |
|---|---|
| Boat transport, local | from $300 one way |
| Haul-out or launch | from $8/ft each way |
| Indoor winter storage (cold) | from $55/ft per winter |
Starting prices in CAD before tax, from published marina and port rates and market estimates, October 2026. Your boat, the yard and the dates set the final price.
Long hauls are priced by distance. Beam over 2.6 m (8 ft 6 in) usually needs an oversize permit.
Transport questions
Can my boat be picked up from a water-access cottage?
Often yes: the boat is driven by water to the nearest ramp or marina and loaded there. Tell us in the request.
Do I have to be there?
Not always. Many owners leave keys and instructions. Agree on that with the hauler.
Tell us about your boat. We find the spot.
Storage type, LOA, region and season. We check what is open near you and reply by email with options and prices.
