What storage looks like here

Boats here sit next to a working shipping channel and an international border, so storage choice is shaped by navigation hazards, the Rideau Canal terminus at Kingston and a short stretch of very deep, very rocky water.

A deep, commercial river with rocky shorelines pushes owners toward marinas with strong haul-out equipment: outdoor yard storage on cradles for larger boats, indoor storage for smaller high-value boats and trailer storage for fishing boats. Cruising demand at the Rideau Canal terminus adds transient stays.
